Overview
These cookies are the perfect example of how something healthy can still taste like a treat. They’re soft, chewy, naturally sweet from the bananas, and packed with enough protein to actually keep you full. They feel like the kind of snack you’d throw in your bag for school, eat after a workout, or grab when you want something dessert‑ish without the sugar crash. Our family has even eaten them on the go for breakfast in a pinch. What I love most is how simple they are — just a few wholesome ingredients mixed together and baked into these golden little cookies that make your kitchen smell amazing. They’re cozy, nutritious, and honestly kind of addictive in the best way.
Ingredients
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup protein powder (Orgain Organic Vanilla Protein or Truvani Organic Plant-Based Vanilla Protein)
1/4 cup chocolate chips (Hu Semi-Sweet Chocolate chips. These are refined sugar free)
1/4 cup chopped Nature's Eats Pecan Pieces
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth.
Add the oats, protein powder, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt. Stir until everything is fully combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips if you’re using them.
Line your cookie sheet with parchment paper
Scoop the dough into small cookie shapes using a cookie scoop on the baking sheet.
Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden and the cookies feel set.
Cool and enjoy — they’re amazing warm but also great chilled from the fridge.
